Being part of Ayudando Abrigando has always been a beautiful experience that has helped me grow as a person. Now that I’ve been given the opportunity to lead the team, I feel honored and motivated to continue this great dream and help it grow even more. I would like to expand Ayudando Abrigando internationally and strengthen our ties with our current partners.

Nicolás Carroquiry

Vice President

Being part of Ayudando Abrigando has helped me grow deeply as a person and has shown me the power people have to change lives and make a positive impact. Through these experiences, I hope to continue learning to be more independent and to become the best leader I can be. Now, together with my peers, I look forward to helping Ayudando Abrigando grow and raising awareness in Peru that change is necessary.

Chiara Dañiño

Secretary

It is a true pleasure to work with Ayudando Abrigando. Every time we participate in a donation, I am filled with happiness and emotion from helping the most vulnerable communities while also becoming more aware of our impact on the planet.
My motivation to be part of Ayudando Abrigando is to be an honest and compassionate person, to be more conscious of my actions, and to contribute positively to a world that needs more caring hands.

Gonzalo Galindo

treasurer

I am a student committed to helping others, as I have always been passionate about service and knowing that we can make a difference with what we do. Through Ayudando Abrigando I have learned about empathy, teamwork and the value of helping others. The experiences I have lived in Ayudando Abrigando inspire me to continue working to achieve my passion for finance and create projects that support social development and spread inclusion in my country.

Almudena Hernández

Media y Marketing

One of my passions is contributing to the development of those in vulnerable situations, and when I was invited to be the Media Manager of Ayudando Abrigando, I accepted without hesitation. I love being able to contribute with content and communication ideas. Being part of the team has helped me see different realities, connect with more people, and realize that I want to study psychology to better understand others and find ways to support them with empathy.

Thiago Dañino

Volunteer Leaders

I’m an active, joyful person who loves helping others. Being part of Ayudando Abrigando lets me live my passion for leadership and service. I love seeing kids smile thanks to my support. My dream is to keep inspiring others and help create leaders who will make our society better every day.

Thiana del Valle

Volunteer Leader

Since I was little, I’ve felt a deep passion for helping others and protecting the environment. That’s why I joined Ayudando Abrigando. Seeing families smile during each delivery fills my heart with joy. Although I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, I know I want to make a positive impact. Ayudando Abrigando taught me that small gestures can truly change lives.

Isabella Perez

E-commerce

Being part of Ayudando Abrigando has deepened my passion for helping people in Peru. From the delivery process to witnessing the impact on families, I see how essential our work is. I love fashion and taekwondo, and I am concerned about environmental issues. This initiative promotes sustainable change in communities, inspiring others to join for a positive impact.

Ignacio Jaramillo

School Clubs Coordinator

Being part of Ayudando Abrigando has shaped how I think about impact—not as scale, but as intention. The kind of help that resonates takes time, care, and a clear understanding of what truly matters to each community. It’s slower, but ultimately more worthwhile—because it creates lasting value. That mindset is what I hope to bring into a future in business and philanthropy, where impact is measured not by reach, but by meaning.

Matías Makhlouf

School Clubs Coordinator

Being part of Ayudando Abrigando is more than just an experience — it’s a gift. What I enjoy most about being part of the team is interacting with the children when we make donations. Seeing them smile as we play together and deliver the clothes we’ve made from recycled plastic bottles fills me with joy and a deep sense of fulfillment. Ayudando Abrigando not only gives me these incredible experiences — it has also made me realize that when I grow up, I want a job that helps people and gives me the same kind of satisfaction I feel when I’m part of Ayudando Abrigando.

Miranda Polastri

Events and Activities Coordinator

Ayudando Abrigando has taught me that helping others doesn’t require a lot of resources, just a big heart. Seeing how something as simple as recycled bottles can transform lives has left a lasting impact on me. I’m passionate about making a positive difference in children’s lives, and it fills me with pride to see them smile. In the future, I dream of studying Communications and Advertising so I can tell stories that inspire others to join social causes and help make the world a more compassionate place.

Ainoha Siucho

Founder

“Being the founder of Ayudando Abrigando remains one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I started this project at 13 years old, without imagining that, 9 years later, it would still be a dream come true. I am filled with pride to see how the mission has grown beyond me and my three best friends, becoming a larger community that continues to support those in need. One of the happiest moments is when we hand out the blankets and see the children and families smile; in those moments, we understand the true impact of our work and feel that every effort is worth it.”

Francesco Mufarech

Founder

“As we approach a decade since the founding of Ayudando Abrigando, I realize that the mission of this wonderful organization goes beyond providing warmth to the most vulnerable Peruvians. It also focuses on raising awareness about the diverse realities of our country, promoting social and economic development. Providing warmth is not simply an act of charity. Our work goes further, seeking to bring personal and human value to those who have the least.

This organization has shown me the immense potential of Peru. Progress is possible, development is achievable, and we, the people of this wonderful country, are not the problem. Ayudando Abrigando loves Peru, cares for the environment, and provides resources to those in need. I am convinced that as this organization grows, so will Peru, and we will be able to educate our population to foster productive and effective development”

Marcelo Makhlouf

Founder

“We started Ayudando Abrigando when we were 14 years old, and I am proud and inspired by the impact we have made. We are an organization aiming to transform the country, one person at a time. Above all, for me, Ayudando Abrigando represents the impact that each of us can achieve. Together, for a better Peru!”

Miguel Uccelli

Founder

“At Ayudando Abrigando, we have created an organization dedicated to humanizing and transforming realities, providing support to those who need it the most. I am happy to see how this organization continues to grow and proud to be part of this amazing project. Let’s keep pushing for more!”
