PLASTIC RECYCLING

Luz del Sur, in partnership with Ayudando Abrigando and Fundación Oli, provides support to populations in areas affected by poverty, those in which there is no access to basic needs or protection from the arrival of frost and cold that threatens the health of the inhabitants.

We join this solidary recycling project with the intention of creating awareness about the importance of efficient recycling of plastic and preservation of the environment, through the donation of plastic so that it is transformed into raw material for the manufacture of blankets, in order that they reach Peruvians in need of different points of our country.

In 2018 we collected 819 kg of plastic, equivalent to 63 blankets that gave shelter to people living in vulnerable areas, and at the same time, we reduced our ecological footprint.

Nowadays, we are one of the main collaborators of Ayudando Abrigando in PET and PAD plastic donation, and we feel increasingly committed to both our community and the environment.
