What do we recycle?

Plastic PET bottles with their caps on

PET is one of the most common plastics in the world. You’ll find it in most stores and supermarkets, as it’s widely used for soft drinks, water bottles, and sports drinks.

However, PET is highly polluting because it’s extremely resistant to biodegradation — it can take up to 1,000 years to break down.
